Corporate Services Division at Goldfields TVET College
The Corporate Services department the College is a fundamental component of the institutionās operational infrastructure, led by the Deputy Principal: Corporate Services, Mr. Moeletsi Pinkoane. As a member of the College Executive Committee (EXCO), Mr. Pinkoane oversees the management and coordination of all corporate support functions, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and operational priorities of the College. The division plays a crucial enabling role in supporting academic delivery and improving institutional performance by creating an environment that allows teaching and learning to thrive.
Corporate Services is responsible for driving the Collegeās Strategic PlanĀ and Annual Performance Plan (APP)Ā in close alignment with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) priorities. The unit facilitates institutional planning, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring that all College programmes, projects, and services are aligned with national priorities, including student access, success, and throughput. Through strategic oversight and compliance monitoring, Corporate Services supports the effective implementation of institutional goals and objectives, bridging policy and practice through structured operational planning.
Key units that report to Corporate Services include Human Resources (HR), Facilities Management, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Marketing and Communication. The Human Resources unit is responsible for the recruitment, development, and retention of qualified and capable staff. This includes the implementation of labour relations, performance management systems, training and development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with employment equity legislation. HR is vital to promoting a productive, professional, and equitable work environment across all campuses.
The Facilities Management unitĀ ensures the safe, efficient, and sustainable management of College infrastructure. This includes building maintenance, refurbishment projects, campus security, occupational health and safety, cleaning, and managing utilities such as water and electricity. The unit plays a key role in ensuring that learning and teaching take place in well-maintained, safe, and conducive environments. Facilities Management is also responsible for space planning, infrastructure reporting, and ensuring that the College complies with safety regulations and environmental sustainability standards.

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT)Ā unit supports the digital transformation of the College, maintaining critical systems such as the student administration system, staff network access, and online learning platforms. ICT also ensures cybersecurity, supports hybrid and blended learning models, and continuously innovates to provide modern tools and technologies for academic and administrative functions. As teaching and learning increasingly embrace digital platforms, the role of ICT in providing reliable connectivity, infrastructure maintenance, and user support cannot be overstated.
Lastly, the Marketing and Communication unitĀ is responsible for promoting the College brand, enhancing its public image, and managing stakeholder engagement. This unit coordinates advertising campaigns, oversees digital and social media platforms, designs promotional materials, and ensures consistency in messaging across all communication platforms. It also plays a key role in student recruitment, community engagement, and strengthening relationships with partners and stakeholders. Through career exhibitions, media relations, and outreach programmes, the marketing unit ensures that Goldfields TVET College remains a top-of-mind institution for quality vocational education.
Corporate Services continues to provide strategic and operational support to ensure that Goldfields TVET College maintains high standards of excellence, operational efficiency, and institutional integrity.
